KINGSTOWN, ST. VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES; TUESDAY AUGUST 09, 2016 – With just one win and two draws, Trinidad and Tobago won the 2016 West Indies Cricket Board Regional Under-19 cricket tournament, after the three rounds of matches came to an end last Saturday August 06, 2016.

The Trinidadians amassed a total of 37 points, beating previous leaders the Leeward Islands into second position, which finished with 36.8 points from two wins and one loss.

Third position went to Jamaica with 36.4 points from two wins and one loss, while Barbados took the fourth position with one win and two draws which brought them 30.1 points.

The Windward Islands finished in the fifth position with 19.2 points from one loss and two draws, while the 2015 champions Guyana ended the tournament sixth with 10.1 points, after having lost all of their matches.
