Nineteen players and officials left St. Vincent and the Grenadines this morning Wednesday June 01, 2016 for Suriname to take part in the Caribbean Cup second round against the host at the André Kamperveen Stadion, Paramaribo, this coming Saturday June 4th, 2016.

The squad will be under the directions of a new coach in Keith Ollivierre, who is also the Technical Director of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Football Federation.

Cornelius Huggins who was the head coach for the national team throughout its World Cup qualifying campaign, is now assistant coach number two.

After which the squad will return home to play St. Kitts and Nevis next Tuesday June 7th, 2016 3:30 p.m., at the Arnos Vale Sporting Complex.

St. Vincent and the Grenadines is in Group 5 along with St.Kitts and Nevis and Suriname; out of which the top two teams will advance to the next round.

The full squad are Myron Samuel, Valdo Anderson, David Pitt, Azinho Solomon, Nazir McBurnette, Teron Miller, Theon Gordon, Nyron Delpleche, Seaquean Millington, Shawn Benjamin, Roy Richards, Cassimus Hackshaw, Danroy Edwards, Kevin Francis, Nazron Hoyte, Akeem Williams, Mark Browne, Lemus Christopher, and Kevan Henry.

The other members of the technical squad are Wayde Jackson as the assistant coach, with Wesley Charles assistant coach number three.

Dale Browne is the fitness coach, Kevin Richardson is the Goal-keeper coach, and Otnell Douglas is the team’s manager.
