ROSEAU, DOMINICA – A poorly attended meeting for 60 potential national volleyball representatives was held at the FLOW compound to discuss training schedules, coaches expectations, and player requirements.
This meeting was to serve off preparations for the second round of volleyball’s World Cup Qualifiers, carded for next April.
The assigned coaches wasted no time in explaining and enforcing their no nonsense approach that will be utilized throughout the six-months training programme.
They stressed that all players are expected to attend and be on time for all training sessions, which began on Monday September 26, 2016.
Designated training days will be on Mondays from 6:00 p.m., from 5:00 p.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays for the men, while the women will train on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m. on Saturdays.
The men’s team will be coached by Jeffrey Edmund, and will assisted by Erickson Leblanc who is fresh off a formal coach’s course in Europe. Coach Leblanc will also assist the women’s head coach Albert Loblack.
