School Boys football returned this week after Friday’s break.

Two rescheduled matches were played Monday November 21 at Pottersville as the Secondary Schools football championship organized by the Sports Division moves into high gear.

In match one, ITSS defeated Goodwill Secondary 1 goal to nil in the 13-and-Under division.

In match number two, the ITSS defeated the defending Under-20 champion Goodwill Secondary 1-nil in an Under-20 division match.

The championship will continue on Tuesday with five matches.

At Pottersville, SMA vs PCSS at 2:00 p.m. in the 13-and-under division, while at 3:30 p.m., it will be PCSS versus DSC in the Under-20 division.

At Newtown, at 2:00 p.m., DCHS and DGS will do battle in the 13-and-Under division, while at 3:30 p.m., it will be NECS versus DGS in the Under-17 division.

At Dublanc, in the 13-and-Under division ITSS will play host to GSS from 2:30 p.m.

This week’s feature match will be Wednesday’s clash between the Isaiah Thomas Secondary and the Dominica Grammar School in an Under-20 division match at Dublanc, and will be carried live on DBS Radio from 3: p.m.
