KINGSTOWN, ST. VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES – The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Rugby Union hosted its bi-annual “Get into Rugby’ Inter-School Day last Saturday January 27th 2018 at the Richmond Hill Playing field in Kingstown.

After a rainy start, the sun came out and a fun day of rugby was had by all. Starting the day with lots of fun rugby related drills and exercises, and ending with a series of tag (non-contact) rugby games, it gave all the schools that participate in the program to compete against one another in a friendly, safe environment.

There were six participating primary schools, who were South Rivers Methodist, CW Prescod, Barrouallie Government, Sugar Mill Academy, Clare Valley Government and St. Mary’s Roman Catholic, which totaled approximately 50 students.
