KINGSTOWN, ST. VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES – The 2016 St. Vincent and the Grenadines Secondary Schools basketball tournament is heading for a big showdown this coming friday.

Bishop’s College Kingstown defeated West St George Secondary School 32-12, to advance to the finals of the 2016 St. Vincent and the Grenadines Secondary School Basketball tournament Girls division.

The finals will feature the undefeated Petit Bordel Secondary School and Bishop College Kingstown, which is scheduled for Friday March 18th 2016 at the New Montrose Basketball Facility, from 2:30 p.m.

The Girls High School will play West St George Secondary School to determine the 3rd and 4th place on Wednesday March 16th, at the New Montrose Basketball Facility at 2:30 p.m.

Following will be the Boys division semi-final between Boys Grammar School and the undefeated and defending champions George Stephens Secondary School. It is a re-scheduled match as the semi-final when it was played was affected by rain, and the game will be completed in the morning.

The winner will play the undefeated Bequia Community High School in the finals 2016 SVG Secondary School Basketball tournament boys division.

The Bequia Seventh Day Adventist School will play the loser of the Boys Grammar School and the George Stephens Secondary School game to determine the 3rd and 4th place finishers respectively, on Wednesday afternoon March1 6th at the New Montrose Basketball Facility, with jump-ball time for the game being 4:00 p.m.

The Boys finals are scheduled for Friday March 18th at The New Montrose Basketball Facility, from 4:00 p.m., jump-ball time
